TELEPATH98, the 4th European Congress on Telepathology, is a biennial international event which aims to bring together researchers, developers and users involved in the application of telepathology to diagnostic practice, research and education. This edition of the European Congress includes a special session on Teleimaging in Medicine, to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among different telemedicine fields.

An almost finalized programme is available: 7 sessions, one round table about "Telepathology in the emerging countries", a poster session and the telemedicine exhibition for a total of 32 oral presentations and 6 posters from 13 different countries.

Congress Proceedings will be available to delegates during the Congress. Arrangements have been made to publish the Proceedings as a supplement of Advances in Clinical Pathology.
